I havent sunk my teeth into it but ae discussion starts with captain teddys tier list here. Yes i know im years late but i only really got into ftl a year ago and i finally feel ive played it enough to create my own weapon tiers.

Ftl ship tier list. The weapons at the top of the list are consistently effective in almost any ship set up. Each ship starts with varying systems weapons power levels. Starting weapons can only be found aboard the ship that has them i include crystal weapons because getting to the crystal sector to buy them is an extremely rare and difficult. Now this list is split into two starting weapons and store weapons. However all ships were not created equal thus i have created a tier list of them based on their ability to beat the game on hard ranking them 1 28. The purpose of a tier list is not to discuss what could potentially happen but rather to evaluate relative strength in a vacuum. Lanius b crystal b zoltan b. The one exception in amazing tier would be the pike beam and thats because its fairly easy to get something to break through shields and the trade off is immense. S tier great ships right out of the hangar can get ludicrously op once more equipment and crew is acquired. The universe of ftl is inhabited by friendly and enemy ships. There is only one ship in this tier as it easily stands above every other ship in the game. One of the best parts of ftl is the variety of ships you can play with.
